Financial Aid
At Saddleback Beauty Academy, we believe your education should be accessible. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps determine what federal financial assistance you may be eligible to receive to help cover costs of your program.
Completing your FAFSA early allows our financial aid team to better support you and ensures a smoother enrollment process.

You may be considered ‘Independent Student’ if you answer “Yes” to any of the following (documentation may be required):
You were born before January 1, 2022
You are married (not separated) or remarried as of the application date
You have children who receive more than half of their financial support from you
You support other dependents who live with you
You are currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces (excluding training)
You are a U.S. Armed Forces veteran
You were in foster care after turning 13
Both parents were deceased before you turned 13
You were or are a ward or dependent of the court
You are homeless or at risk of homelessness
If you answer “No” to all of the above, you are considered a ‘Dependent Student’ and parent information will be required.

Your FSA ID is the secure username and password you will use to access U.S. Department of Education websites and manage your federal student aid.
All students must create their own FSA ID
‘Dependent Students’ must have one parent create an FSA ID

Once your FAFSA is complete, you’ll meet one-on-one with a Financial Aid Representative at our school to review your eligibility and discuss your options.
Please bring the following items to your appointment:
Valid photo ID (Driver License, Passport, Military ID, etc.)
High School Diploma, GED, or AA Diploma (unofficial transcripts also accepted)
FAFSA submission confirmation page
Your most recent 2023 tax return
Parent’s most recent 2023 tax return (if ‘Dependent’)
