The curriculum for students enrolled in the Cosmetology course shall consist of sixteen hundred (1,600) clock hours of Technical Instruction and Practical Training, including at a minimum the state mandated subject hours. Instruction will cover all practice constituting the art and science of cosmetology pursuant to section 7316 of the Barbering and Cosmetology Act. Technical instruction means instruction given by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, and examination. Practical training shall mean actual service performance by the student on another person or mannequin.
